What Are Those People In That Photo to the Left Doing?
Just looks like seven people sitting around a table talking, right? Well, it is that, but it is so very much more.
That photo is of a recent meeting of HillFaith's growing "For Hill Aides Only" (FHAO) apologetical Bible Study group. It meets in a town house right behind the Supreme Court and between the House of Representatives and the Senate.
These congressional aides come from both sides of the Hill and both political parties. Some work for individual representatives, others for key congressional committees.
There are seven in this particular meeting; other days there can be two dozen. Schedules change rapidly on the Hill!
The FHAO group is currently doing a deep-dive into the Gospel of John. Previous studies have included Dr. Frank Turek's "I Still Don't Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist" apologetics video study, and J. Warner Wallace's "Person if Interest" apologetics video study.
All of these aides are there because they share HillFaith's vision - Taking the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to one of the most hostile mission fields in the world, the 10,000 mostly young men and women who are Hill aides on Capitol Hill.
