A Cold-Case Detective Interrogates The New Testament Eyewitnesses

Detectives and journalists are in some crucial respects in the same business – determining what really happened in a given event and who did what and why in the course of it.  That’s one of main reasons the work of J. Warner Wallace is so fascinating to me, an investigative journalist.

Wallace may be the most famous cold-case detective ever, having been gifted with an amazing ability to take on murder cases that have defied investigators for decades and figuring out who did it. Many of his toughest cases have been featured on NBC’s “Dateline” program.

Wallace’s journey to becoming a follower of Jesus  included his applying the same detective skills he used to solve cold cases to determining if he would accept the Jesus of the Gospels as genuine and reliable, including especially determining the credibility of the eyewitnesses to the Resurrected Christ. He explains what he found and why it persuaded him in the following video:
