There is a claim often heard from atheists and agnostics during debates with Christians that there is no need for a God to create Earth and the universe in which it exists because nature has randomly created an infinite number of universes and ours just happens to be the right one for human existence. It’s the Multiverse Theory.
This hypothesis has always struck me as not an evidence-based theory but rather a speculative sleight-of-hand that conveniently provides an apparent explanation for every possible fact or discovery that might otherwise point to an intelligent designer.
