KATEY FOLEY moves up from Senior Policy Adviser to Rep. April McLean-Delaney (D-MD.) to Legislative Director for Rep. Brittany Patterson (D-Colo.). Katy is a 2021 graduate of the University of Denver with a BS in Public Policy and Socio-Legal Studies.
BILL DUHNKE takes over as Deputy Chief of Staff for Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-La.). Previously, Bill served the Speaker as Policy Director. He is a 1996 graduate of the Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law with a JD and a 1984 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a BA.
Chris Thomas is Legislative Assistant on the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee.
CHRIS THOMAS is the new Legislative Assistant working in the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee working for the Chairman, Sen. Jerry Moran (R-KS.). Before making this move, Chris served on the same panel as Legislative Aide. He is a 2021 graduate of North Carolina State University with a BA in Political Science.
MOLLY AKERS moves up on the minority staff of the Senate Appropriations Committee, going from Staff Assistant to Professional Staff Member, working for Ranking Member Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.). Molly earned her BA in Policy Studies in 2022 from the Syracuse University Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.
