MILESTONES: Today is a Huge Day in the History of HillFaith

Starting today at noon, HillFaith will host a For Hill Aides Only edition of the “God’s Crime Scene with J. Warner Wallace” course that examines how investigative skills that solved 30-year-old murder cases can also be used to examine the evidence for God.

The eight one-hour-each sessions will convene at the Faith & Liberty Ministry Building at 109 2nd Street, NE, right behind the U.S. Supreme Court and halfway between the Senate and House office complexes on the Capitol campus.

Peggy Nienaber, Faith & Liberty’s Vice-President, is graciously co-hosting the noon meetings, which will be led by HillFaith’s founding editor, Mark Tapscott. Free lunches from Chick-fil-A are provided by HillFaith for attendees who register in advance.

Faith & Liberty is the Washington, D.C. work of a great public interest law firm, Liberty Counsel, which was founded by and continues to be led by Pastor, Attorney and Chairman Mat Staver and his wife, Anita Staver, who is President and also an attorney.

At the conclusion of the current course, the Monday Noon HillFaith sessions will take up Dr. Frank Turek’s “Why I Still Don’t Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist” course, and then begin a series of topical Bible studies, beginning with “What Jesus Said About Himself and Why.”

Stay tuned because this marks a huge step forward in HillFaith’s fulfillment of the mission God has given it of apologetically sharing the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to the 20,000 mostly young men and women who serve America through their work on Capitol Hill.

Am I excited? You bet I am because, as I have only recently realized, this is the ultimate purpose for which God brought me from Oklahoma to the nation’s capital in 1976. All prayers are appreciated!
