People who work on Capitol Hill as congressional aides deal with vitally important issues on a regular basis, so much so that sometimes it becomes difficult to figure out which ones must be dealt with now and which can be left for another day. Then there are those that are simply ignored because facing them is so intensely heartbreaking.

Child trafficking is one of those issues that tends to be ignored or shuffled aside, and not just on Capitol Hill. After all, who wants to think about a six-year-old child being forced to submit to rape, over and over and over, with no hope of ever escaping.
