WHAT WOULD YOU SAY? Quantum Theory and Theology

If someone were to ask you “what is matter,” what would you say. If you are a normal person, you might well say something like, “well, it’s concrete, it’s reality,”it’s, you know, the stuff that we are.”

But if you are a physicist and knowledgeable about Quantum Theory, your response is likely to be something like “well, that depends on when and where it is. And then there is also …” In other words, answering that question is a whole lot more complicated than it first appears.

In the following short (1:15) “What Would You Say?” video from the Colson Center, C.S. Lewis is quoted as having written in 1952 that “if Christianity is true, then it must be at least as difficult as modern physics.” Interesting point, so watch the video, then share your thoughts in the comments below.
