CONSIDER THIS: Multiple Hostile Ancient Sources Confirmed Jesus’ Miracles, Death, Resurrection

(11:32 VIEWING) — Skeptics and critics of Christianity often claim either Jesus’ miracles, including especially His resurrection on the third day after His death on the cross, were merely fables made up by the disciples. Or they claim Jesus simply never existed as a real person.

But the fact there was a real person named Jesus who was living in what was then known as Judea is attested by numerous ancient writers who were not Christians, according to Cold-Case Christianity’s  J. Warner Wallace. These authors lived within a generation of the characters and times they described.

Those same authors confirm some or all of the other major details, including the Resurrection, that were first reported by the Gospel authors, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, Wallace explains in the following video.

J. Warner Wallace of Cold-Case Christianity.

Wallace is a former Los Angeles Police Detective who was phenomenally successful at solving cold murder cases that had gone unsolved for years. He was regularly featured on NBC’s “Dateline” news documentary describing his successes.

An atheist, there came a time when Wallace set out to use his detective skills to prove Jesus was not who Christians claim Him to be. Instead, Wallace’s investigation resulted in his becoming a follower of Jesus Christ and ultimately, as founder of Cold-Case Christianity, one of the most persuasive Christian apologists in the world.
