CONSIDER THIS: Why Doesn’t God Prevent Evil?
There likely isn’t a single person reading the headline above who hasn’t asked themselves and God that question – why do you allow evil and pain and suffering in this world, Lord? More than a few who have asked the question concluded the presence of evil is evidence that God doesn’t exist because if He did and He is good, He would prevent evil.

J. Warner Wallace’s latest book, “The Truth in True Crime,” is available from Amazon.
J. Warner Wallace of Cold Case Christianity and author of “The Truth About True Crime” takes up this issue and offers an original analysis that puts the issue of the real presence of evil in an entirely different context, the context of eternity.
Think of it like this: If you believe the natural world is all there is, then there is no ground on which to base a judgement that an event in your life — sickness, injury, poverty, etc. — is evil. It’s just the way it is, end of story.
If, on the other hand, you believe God created the natural world and that human life continues after death in the physical realm and that spending eternity with Him is the ultimate bliss, then there is a basis for judging things in this life like sickness, injury and poverty as evil.
But wait, Wallace has more, which you can watch, think carefully about, and then share your thoughts in response in the Comments section of HillFaith:
