CONTRADICTIONS: Here’s the 5 Most Commonly Cited and Why They Aren’t Contradictions

(SEVEN MINUTE READ/WATCH) — How many times have you heard somebody talking about the Bible, claiming it isn’t credible and dismissing it as “full of contradictions?” Maybe you, even as you read this post, are thinking to yourself, “well, yes, it is full of contradictions.” Right?

Maybe it’s not actually a contradiction at all!

Wrong. Hundreds of books have been written over the years claiming dozens and dozens of alleged examples of contradictory passages in the Bible. And for every one of those books claiming to prove contradictions, refutations have been published, spoken and televised around the world.

Yet, people still make the claim. On closer examination, many of the alleged contradictions turn out not to be because the scripture  verses in question don’t satisfy the accepted definition of a genuine contradiction.
