CONTRADICTIONS: Where Were Joseph and Mary From, Nazareth, Bethlehem, or Somewhere Else?

Some critics claim the New Testament is not a trustworthy source of information about Jesus or any of the details of His life, death and resurrection because of alleged contradictions. One example of such allegations is the claim the Gospels of Matthew and Luke offer conflicting versions of from where Joseph and Mary came and lived.

In the following 5:40 video, Michael Jones and InspiringPhilosophy address what appears to be one Gospel saying Joseph and Mary only lived in Nazareth before Jesus was born or only after.

It may seem insignificant or concerning only a minor point, but the Bible claims to be the Word of God, and therefore it cannot be inaccurate. As Paul tells us at II Timothy 3:16, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness …” So this is VIP:
