DID YOU KNOW? Darwin Considered Women Inferior to Men

If the headline above shocks you, you are about to be shocked even more if you watch the following 3:23 video from Kyle Butt and the Apologetics Press. He provides the specific cites from Charles Darwin’s “The Descent of Man” and then explains in detail why, given Darwin’s assumptions about the origin of man, his conclusion about the inferiority of women is no surprise.

I have to confess that I was shocked the first time I viewed this video because I had no idea that Darwin and/or those claiming to be his followers were so consistent in following basic evolutionary assumptions to their logical conclusions.

This analysis from the National Institutes for Health (NIH) National Library of Medicine lays out these issues quite clearly. Judging by this analysis of the role of Darwin’s cousin, Francis Galton, it also appears that “perfecting” the human race was something of a family endeavor.

And let it never be forgotten that there is a direct line connecting the introduction of Darwinism with the emergence of the Eugenics Movement in Europe and the USA. That’s the Eugenics Movement that featured, among others, Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood.
