EASTER ISSUES 2025: What It Was Like To Be Crucified

(SIX-MINUTE WATCH) — It’s easy during the Easter season to focus entirely on the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the tomb three days after His death. But the manner of His death, by Roman crucifixion following multiple rigged trials before the Jewish and Roman authorities, is immensely important as well.

And the Romans did indeed crucify uncounted thousands of people, including during the conquest of Jerusalem in 70 A.D., an estimated 500 Jews every day during the lengthy seige.
