ETHAN HAMILTON takes on the responsibilities of Special Assistant to Rep. Riley Moore (R-WVa.)., covering the issues of National Security, Science Policy and Foreign Policy. Ethan is a 2026 MA graduate in Biohazard Threat Agents and Emerging Infectious Disease and Biomedical Science Policy and Advocacy from Georgetown University and he received his BA in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of West Virginia in 2025.

SELA IVERSON is the new Scheduler for Rep. Kwesi Mfume (D-MD) and she is making a direct transition to that position from serving as an Intern in the Maryland Democrat’s personal staff office. Sela received her MA in International Relations in 2026 from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced Studies, nd her BA from the University of Florida in 2023 in Spanish Language and Literature, International Studies, Near and Middle Eastern Studies, Latin American and Caribbean Studies.
TIFFANY HAVERLY returns to the Hill to serve as Chief of Staff for Rep. Kat Kammack (R-Fla.) after serving nearly three years in senior positions with Humana, Inc. Tiffany has been on and off the Hill since her first taste of it with an internship in 2008 with Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.). She earned her MA in Strategic Communications from American University and her BA in Communications Studies from the University of Tennessee (Knoxville) in 2008.
MOVES OF NOTE:
JESSICA MCCUNE makes the big step up from serving as Communications Director for Sen. Jim Banks (R-Ind.) to Deputy Chief of Staff. Being a Texan, Jessica began her Hill career back in 2017 as an Intern for Rep. Joe Barton (R-Texas). She received her BA in Public Relations and Political Science in 2018 from Texas Tech University.
JESSICA PETTIS is also taking a significant step forward, going from Scheduler to Operations Manager in the office of Rep. Jake Auchincloss (D-Mass.). Jessica is a 2023 BA graduate of Mississippi State University in Political Science and Government, and Communications.
