EMMA FRAYBERG moves into her first full-time position on a congressional staff, serving as Scheduler/Executive Assistant to Rep. Tom McClintock (R-Calif.). Previously, Emma was an Intern for Rep. Keith Stauber (R-Minn.) and Rep. Tom Kean (R-NJ). She was awarded a BA in Legal Studies and an MA in Justice and Law, both in 2024 and from American University.

VICTORIA GARRASTACHO becomes Counsel to Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) on the Senate Special Committee on Aging. Victoria moves over to the Senate side of Capitol Hill following a stint as a Professional Staff Member working for House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio). She received her law degree in 2024 from the Catholic University of America and her BS in Accounting from the University of Florida in 2020.
GRANT SHEPHERD takes over as Tax Policy Adviser to Rep. Carol Miller (R-WV.). Working for the West Virginia Republican is Grant’s first position on Capitol Hill. Previously, he was a Senior Associate at Cornerstone Public Affairs, Inc. He received his BA in International and Global Studies, World Politics and Europe in 2023 from the University of the South (Sewanee).
SARAH FRANKLIN is the new Republican Press Secretary on the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, working for Sen. Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) and taking on her first position on a congressional staff. Previously, Sarah was Account Manager for Public Affairs with the Curley Company. Sarah’s BA in Public Policy and Leadership was awarded in 2020 by the University of Virginia.
