KEREN GEKKER is Scheduler and Operations Coordinator for Rep. Tim Kennedy (D-NY). She takes on this job after serving as Finance Director for the Kennedy campaign. She is a BA graduate of Fordham University in International Political Economy and a double minor in Marketing and Russian.
LANE WILSON moves into the Chief of Staff job for the newest member of the U.S. Senate, Sen. Alan Armstrong (R-Okla.). Armstrong was appointed by Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt to fill the open seat created when now-former Sen. Mark Wayne Mullin became Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) earlier this year.

Lane joins the Armstrong staff following a long tenure as Senior Vice-President and General Counsel of the Williams Company based in Tulsa. He was also a Federal Magistrate from 2009 to 2017. Lane earned his BA in Electrical Engineering in 1989 from the University of Tulsa and his law degree in 1994 from the University of Tulsa College of Law.
COLETTE NORTMAN makes the move from the Senate to the House side of the Hill, taking over as Legislative Assistant to Rep. Brittany Pettersen (D-Colo.). Previously, Colette served as a Legislative Aide to Sen. Gary Peters (D-Mich.). She is a 2022 BA graduate of St. Mary’s College of Maryland in Anthropology and Spanish.
Also signing on with the new Oklahoma Senator is TAYLOR PLAYFORTH as Legislative Director. A Washington veteran, Taylor previously served as Senior Director for NEPA and Permitting on the President’s Council on Economic Quality. Back in the day, Taylor was Senior Legislative Assistant to Rep. Garrett Graves (R-La.). He received his BA in Political Science and Government in 2013 from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
