KATEY PATRICK makes the big move from serving as a Floor Manager in the California State Assembly for the Republican Caucus to Operations Director for Rep. James Gallagher (R-California). Katey is a 2021 BA graduate of the University of California, Davis, in International Relations and History.

EMMA SHEFFERT  returns to Capitol Hill as Health Policy Advisor to Rep. Doris Matsui (D-Californa) after serving an Internship in 2021 with Rep. Brenda Lawrence (D-MI), then heading off to the non-profit community. Emma earned her MA in Health Policy from the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health in 2022. She received her BS in 2018 from the University of Michigan in Nutrition Sciences.

ADRIENNE CASTRO drops her duties as Legislative Director to focus solely on being Deputy Chief of Staff for Rep. Mark Takano (D-Calif.). Adrienne has been on the Takano team since 2019, and before that served in multiple slots with Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL). She was awarded her BA in Government in 2014 by William and Mary University.

CALEB BUCK moves up to Legislative Aide from Staff Assistant duties in the office of Rep. Ryan McKenzie (R-PA). Caleb was awarded his BS from Liberty University in 2025 in Political Science and Government. Caleb also served as an Intern in the McKenzie office in 2025.

DANIEL CARPENTER moves into his first-ever congressional staff position as the new Legislative Aide working in the office of Rep. Derrick Van Orden (R-WI). Daniel is a University of Texas at Austin graduate this year with a BA in Political Science and Government.
