GREG BROOKS is the newest face in the staff office of Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-La.), taking over duties as House Operations Director. Greg makes the move following tenure as Chief of Staff for Rep. Greg Murphy (R-NC). Greg earned his MA in Government in 2024 from Hillsdale College, and his BA in Government in 2010 from Centre College.

MARISA BURLESON succeeding Greg Brooks as Chief of Staff for Rep. Greg Murphy (R-NC). Previously, Marisa was Member Services Director and Senior Adviser to Rep. Kevin Hern (R-Okla.) and the House Republican Policy Committee. A Texan, Marisa is a 2019 graduate of Hardin-Simmons University with a BA in Government and Political Science.
KATIE WILSON is who you need to see if you have a scheduling question involving Rep. Ryan Zinke (R-MT). Katie comes to the Hill after nine years in the financial services industry, most recently as Financial Audit Manager at Kearney & Co. Katie’s MS in Accountancy was awarded in 2016 by Wake Forest University and the year before that she received her BS in Accounting and Information Systems and Finance from Virginia Tech.
