HILL STAFF VIEWS: Most Capitol Hill Staffers Say Jimmie Kimmel Isn’t Funny

(QUICK READ) — This may come as a shock for some, but when CNCT Capitol Pulse asked congressional staffers about late-night show host Jimmy Kimmel, almost three-quarters of them said the same thing:

“Jimmy Kimmel is not funny.”

So said 71 percent of the respondents overall, with that total breaking out as coming mainly, but not entirely, from male GOP aides, 95 percent of whom said Kimmel didn’t give them a laugh.

There were 29 percent of the Democratic staffers under the age of 30 who agreed Kimmel lacks laughs, as did 25 percent of Democratic women staffers. Overall, 71 percent of the Democratic staffers said Kimmel does make them laugh.

Only six percent of the respondents said they didn’t know whether Kimmel was funny.

Perhaps these are aides working for senators and representatives from heavily agricultural states who have to be in the office before the crack of dawn and thus always hit the sack before Kimmel comes on???
