Can You Trust Those Genealogy Firms To Tell The Whole DNA Truth?
Millions of Americans in recent years have turned to the proliferating realm of companies that offer to tell you where your ancestors came from and how much of each ethnicity or nationality is found in your DNA.
There are even firms that do the same thing for dogs, telling you that all 13 of the breeds that somehow had a hand in the making of your adorable mutt.
But DNA tracing is also important in law enforcement and in spiritual matters. Mormons, for example, believe the dead can be baptized into heaven if their living relatives identify them and perform certain rites in a temple.
