Executive Producer Says Crowd-Funded Freedom, Independence From Hollywood Are Keys to Success of ‘The Chosen’
Darrell Eves is the executive producer of “The Chosen,” the incredibly successful crowd-funded series telling the story of Jesus Christ with unprecedented quality in its cinematography, scripting and production.
Now in it’s third season and having set records for crowd-funded entertainment projects, people want to know why the series has been such a success. Eves points to two factors he claims are absolutely crucial: being independent of the Hollywood system, and taking full advantage of the creative and marketing freedom made possible by crowd-funding.
