EASTER ISSUES 2026: Did Jesus Disciples Imagine, Or Make Up, the Resurrection Story?
(5:00 VIEWING) — It is a familiar assertion among older critics of Christianity that the claim about Jesus being resurrected from the dead three days after His crucifixion was the result of a conspiracy among the 11 surviving disciples, either as a way of coping with grief or as a venal means of profiting off their Rabbi’s unexpected passing.
If that claim is true, that the resurrection never really happened, then Christians are fools because, as Paul wrote at 1 Corinthians 15:14, “then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain.” And Christianity is exposed as the greatest hoax in history.
So what about this claim, is there convincing evidence that the resurrection did actually happen? You be there is, and it is massive, comprehensive and credible.
