SCIENCE AND FAITH: Of Fingerprints And Galaxies
What is the connection between fingerprint and the billions of galaxies in the universe? Check out the following “Two-Minute Wonders” video (it’s actually 3:48, but who’s counting when you’re this fascinated!) from the John 10:10 Project:
Уou coulɗ definitely see үour expertise within the work you write. The world hopes for even moгe passionate writers ѕᥙch as you ѡho are not afraiԁ to mention how they beliеᴠe. At all timeѕ follow your heart.
Thank you for your kind words, joust, much appreciated.
That suggests a (literally) astronomical number of intelligent civilizations. By the law of averages, many — perhaps most — will have evolved rather more advanced theologies than we have managed to do.
So you are saying theology is a product of evolution? Can you share with us where in Scripture theology or anything else is the product of an evolutionary process? I thought theology – the study of God’s word – was a product of logic and the guidance of the Holy Spirit in understanding the word.
Heⅼlo, I check үour blogs like every week. Your humoгistic

It does nothing of the sort. You have no idea of the insuperable statistics of original polypeptide synthesis. 60,000,000,000 is a trivial number by comparison. Titin is the largest protein in the human body. It is 33,450 amino acid residues in length. We are composed of chains of 20 different amino acids. So the first time Titin was synthesized, 1 of 20 was “selected” then the second 1 of 20 was “selected” and on and on, 33,450 times, slow, fast, piecemeal, it does not matter. The statistics are not time nor slice dependent. 1/20 to the 33,450th power is so much more impossible than Richard Dawkins’ definition of “impossible” as to be beyond the pale. By comparison, sixty billion is only 6 x 10 to the 10th power. But it gets much, much worse. Amino acids come in D and L form. We are composed solely of D, for dextrorotary. So multiply the first impossibility times 1/2 to the 33,450th. Then one more time for peptide bonding rather than non-peptide bonding. That product gives you 1 chance in 10 to the 65,000th power. Oh wait. There are 10,000 different polypeptides in humans…….
