STAFF NEWS: Look Who is Moving Up on Capitol Hill This Week (Might be Somebody You Know!)

Rep. Young Kim (R-CA) has a new Field Representative, SARAH MENDOZA, who was previously doing similar work for State Sen. Rosilicie Ochoa Bogh (R-CA). Sarah is a 2018 Hofstra University graduate with a BA in Communications and Media Studies.

MOLLY BLOCK is making the move from Louisiana to North Dakota. No, she’s not moving her residence, she’s jumping from being Press Secretary for Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) to Communications Director for Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-ND). Molly is actually originally from Illinois and earned her BS in Political Science, International Studies and Spanish from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), with highest honors.

BURKE SMITH is taking on the challenge of being Legislative Director for Rep. Dave Joyce (R-Ohio). Previously, Burke was Senior Legislative Assistant to Joyce for whom he has worked since July 2018. Burke is a 2018 graduate of Bates College in Politics.

BEVERLY HART advances to Legislative Director for Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN), following four years in various capacities working for Rep. Sean Maloney (D-NY). Beverly earned her Masters in Public Administration from George Washington University in 2018 and her BA in Political Science and Government from the University of South Carolina (Columbia) in 2014, Magna Cum Laude.
