STAFF NEWS: Look Who’s Movin’ On Up On The Hill This Week!

Riley Pearce moves from the Senate side to the House side to take up duties as Constituent Services Representative for Rep. Stephanie Bice (R-OK). Riley previously worked as a Legislative Correspondent for Sen. James Lankford (R-OK). She is a 2018 BA summa cum laude graduate in Political Science and Government from Northwestern Oklahoma State University.

Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ) has a new Chief of Staff, Jason Tuber, who makes the big move up from more than five years as Senior Adviser to the present Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman. Jason received his BA in Political Science and Government from Colgate University in 2005.

Isabela Belchior makes the move up from Legislative Counsel for Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) to Legislative Director. Isabela received her JD from the University of Houston Law Center in 2016. In 2012, Isabela was awarded a BA in Psychology by the University of North Texas.

Taking on her first position on a congressional staff is Robyn Gulley, joining the staff of Rep. Terri Sewell (D-AL) as a Legislative Correspondent. Robyn is a 2020 graduate in Political Science and Government from Birmingham-Southern College.

Congressional staff veteran Matt Hoffman returns to Capitol Hill to serve as the Republican Staff Director on the House Financial Services Committee, following three years as a Principal/Vice-President at BGR Group. Matt previously was Policy Director for Senate Finance Committee Chairman Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) and before that was Policy Assistant to Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-WI). Matt’s first position on the Hill was in 2011, working as a Budget Analyst for Ryan on the House Budget Committee. Matt is a Columbia University graduate.

Moving up from an Intern slot to Staff Assistant for Rep. Tom Malinowski (D-NJ) is Catherine Magos. Catherine is a 2020 University of Maryland graduate with a BA in Political Science and Government.
