GRACE DUNLAP moves into the Legislative Counsel slot for Rep. Jake Ellzey (R-Texas). Grace comes to the Ellzey digs after interning for another Texan, Rep. Pete Sessions (R-Texas). Grace is a graduate of the University of Houston Law Center for her JD in 2022 and Texas A&M for her BS in Agricultural Economics in 2018.

BEN WILLIAMSON takes over as Chief of Staff for Rep. Michael Cloud (R-Texas) after a stint as Executive Director of the Freedom First PAC. Cloud is a Hill veteran having previously served as Communications Director for Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) and a White House veteran after serving as Senior Communications Advisor for President Donald Trump. Ben’s BS in Political Science is from Patrick Henry College in 2015.

JULIA DREHER is the new Scheduler for Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-Texas). Prior to joining the Castro staff, Julia was a Field Organizer for the George Democratic Party and before that for the Michigan Democratic Party. Her degree is from the University of Michigan in International Studies in 2020.

SAM ERICKSON is who to contact if you’re a journalist covering Rep. Mary Peltola (D-AK). Sam comes to Peltola as Press Secretary as his first job on Capitol Hill. His BBA in Finance is from the University of Anchorage in 2018.
