STAFF NEWS: Look Who’s Movin’ Up On The Hill (Might Be Somebody You Know)

He retired from the Hill two years ago, but MARK PETTIT is back as Chief of Staff for Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.). His previous stint in the same position lasted from January 2011 to June 2020. Mark is a 1978 graduate of Brigham Young University with a MS in Mechanical Engineering.

ROSALYN BRUMMETTE is another Hill veteran coming back to familiar territory after tenure elsewhere. Rosalyn  is now Policy Adviser to Sen. Michael Bennett (D-Colo), coming over from service as Public Policy Manager for the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA). Prior to the NCGA post, Rosalyn was a Policy Analyst for Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-Mich.), working on the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry. She is a 2016 Michigan State University graduate with a BS in Agricultural Business and Management.

KYLE COLE moves in as Special Counsel on the Republican staff of the Senate Judiciary Committee, working for Ranking Minority Member Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa). Prior to the committee, Kyle was an Associate at Perkins Coie LLP. Kyle earned his Law degree in 2017 from the University of Virginia School of Law and his BS in Political Science and Geography in 2011 from George Washington University.
