STAFF NEWS: Look Who’s Movin’ On Up The Hill This Week

TYLER VARNER comes aboard the staff of Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) as a Staff Assistant, after interning for Sen. Alex Padilla (D-CA) and the Senate Sergeant-at-Arms. Tyler is a 2021 graduate in Information Science and Systems/Information Technology from Morgan State University.

And joining the staff of Maryland’s other senator, Sen. Ben Cardin (D-MD) is CAROLYN PERLMUTTER, as a Legislative Correspondent. Carolyn previously was Federal Affairs Program Associate with the National Association of Community Health Centers. She previously was an Intern for Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-NY).
REGAN WILLIAMS takes over as Legislative Assistant for Rep. Jody Hice (R-GA). Williams is a veteran of the Trump Administration, serving as Associate Director of the Department of Homeland Security, among other positions, as well as the Hill, working as a Staff Assistant for Rep. Gary Palmer (R-Ala.). Regan is a 2014 graduate in Communication Studies from the University of Alabama.
