CHAD TENPENNY put in 24 years working for Sen. Robert Dole, Sen. Pat Roberts and Sen. Roger Marshall, all Kansas Republicans, and now he is leaving the Hill to start a Private Law Practice focused on Government Affairs, General Counsel Services and Political Consulting. Congrats on a great Hill career, Chad.

Moving into the Deputy Communications Director duties for Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.) is MAGGIE ROUSSEAU, following a two-year stint as Associate Director for Federal Affairs at The Hub Project. Maggie is a 2011 BA graduate in Political Science and Statistics from George Washington University. Maggie first came to the Hill as an Intern for Rep. Zack Space (D-Ohio) in January 2008.

Ben is Back! BEN KANE that is, as Senior Advisor to Rep. Alan Lowenthal (D-Calif.). Previously, Ben spent a couple of years as Senior Health Care Finance Policy Analyst with the California System of Public Hospitals and Health Systems. Prior to that gig, Ben was with Lowenthal from 2012 to 2017, rising to Senior Legislative Assistant. Ben is a 2019 MPP graduate of the University of California at Berkley and a 2012 BA graduate of Williams College in History and Political Science.
