ZACH BARNES is the new Legislative Assistant working for Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ).  Zach comes to the Biggs office after a stint as Federal Outreach Associate for the Mercatus Center at George Mason University. Before that, Zach spent four years at the Department of Housing and Urban Development working for Secretary Ben Carson. Zach is a 2019 MPS graduate of George Washington University in Legislative Affairs and a 2014 BA graduate in Political Science and Government from Wofford College.

KYLE JOHNSON moves in as Chief of Staff to Rep. Jim Baird (R-IN) after three years in a similar post with Montgomery County, Tennessee. Kyle also worked as a Field Director for Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN) for more than two years. Kyle is a 2015 graduate with a BS in Political Science from Austin Peay State University.

If you are looking for ANDREW CARILLO, you will find him these days working as a Staff Assistant for Sen. Alex Padilla (D-CA). Andrew previously worked as a Legislative Intern for the California senator, so this new gig is his first full-time position on a congressional staff. Andrew’s BA in Political Science is from San Francisco State University in 2021.
