Jaida previously was a Legislative Fellow for Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee (D-Texas). Jaida’s BA in Journalism and Pre-Law Studies was awarded in 2020 by the University of Kentucky.

RICHARD CHALKEY moves in as Deputy Chief of Staff for Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.), following stints at DeLoitte LLP and Associate Director of the White House Office of Legislative Affairs. Richard earned his BS in Management and International Business in 2013 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
The new Military Legislative Assistant working for Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-Wash.) is JACKSON SMITH. He joins the McMorris Rogers staff after working for more than three years as Legislative Assistant for Rep. Scott Tipton (R-Colo.). Jackson is a 2015 LLM graduate of the American University Washington College of Law, a 2013 JD graduate of the Mississippi College School of Law and a 2007 BA graduate of Miami (Ohio) University in Political Science.
