CHRIS MACARTHUR is the new Legislative Director for Rep. Dan Newhouse (R-Wash.). Previously, Chris served for nearly six years as Senior Legislative Assistant to Rep. John Moolenaar (R-MI). Chris was awarded an MA in International Business and Policy from Georgetown University in 2020 and a BS in Public Policy from Michigan State University in 2014.
SARAH KATSNELSON takes the step up to Senior Legislative Assistant for Rep. Brad Sherman (D-Calif.) after previously fulfilling the duties of Legislative Assistant and before that Legislative Correspondent in the Sherman office. Sarah expects to complete her MPA in International Relations from Cornell University in 2024. She received her BA in Political Science and Public Policy in 2018 from Rutgers University.

LAUREN SIERRA moves into the Press Secretary slot in the office of Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-Texas). Lauren was Weekend Anchor, Producer and Reporter for Sinclair Broadcast News before taking on her first job on Capitol Hill. Her Masters in American Journalism was awarded Lauren by New York University in 2022 and she received her BA in Sociology in 2019 from Harvard University.
