ELLIOTT SMITH culminates a congressional journey that began with his internship on the House Administration Committee in January 2020 with promotion by Chairman Bryan Stiel (R-Wisc.) to Oversight Director. Previously, Elliott served as Deputy Oversight Director, Professional Staff Member, and Staff Assistant. Elliott is a 2017 University of Texas BA graduate in Economics and History.

TESSA BROWNE is another Capitol Hill aide moving up, from Scheduler/Digital Director to Communications Director for Rep. John Garamendi (D-Calif.). Tessa, who was born in Hong Kong, expects to complete her MPA this year from the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs. She received her BA in 2016 from Clark University in English Language and Literature, and Screen Studies.

JACOB ROGERS moves from serving as Legislative Correspondent for Rep. Doug Collins (R-Ga.) to Legislative Assistant to Legislative Assistant to Rep. David Schweikert (R-Az.). Jacob is a 2017 General Business graduate from THE Oklahoma State University. Jacob’s congressional aide labors began in 2016 as an Intern for Rep. Steve Russell (R-Okla.).
