STAFF NEWS: Look Who’s Movin’ Up On The Hill This Week

In her first job on the Hill, Abbey Donaldson moves up from Intern for Rep. Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA) to Press/Digital Assistant for Rep. Susan Wild (D-PA). Abbey earned her BA in History in 2020 from the University of Scranton.

There’s a new Legislative Correspondent in the office of Sen. Todd Young (R-IN) and his name is Yoel Bublick. Yoel began his Hill career as an Intern for Young and moves into his new position after tenure as a Staff Assistant. Yoel’s BS in Accounting was received in 2017 from the University of Indiana (Bloomington).
Jessie Damazyn is the new Communications Director for Rep. Melanie Stansbury (D-NM). Jessie previously served on the Hill as CD for Rep. Michelle Lujan Grisham (D-NM). Jessie’s BA in Strategic Communications was awarded to her in 2017 by the University of New Mexico.
Moving on after six years as Chief of Staff to Rep. Steve Chabot (R-Ohio) is Stacy Barton, who moves in as Vice President at SourceAmerica. Stacy began her long Hill career with Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) as the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Fellow in 1993. Stacy’s MA is in Sociology is from the University of Delaware and her BA in Sociology and Psychology from St. Mary’s College of Maryland (MD) in 1992.
