STAFF NEWS: Look Who’s Moving Up On The Hill This Week (Might Be Someone You Know)

LAUREN HOLLY is who you need to see about scheduling concerns with Sen. John Boozman (R-AR). Lauren  previously served the Arkansas senator as Deputy Scheduler/Assistant to the Chief of Staff. She is a 2020 graduate of the University of Arkansas with a BA in Psychology and Political Science.

TIANNA TORREJON is the new Staff Assistant working for Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa). Tianna is thus taking up her first-ever job on the Hill. She is a 2021 graduate of the University of Iowa with a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications (Sports Studies). 

KIMBERLY CASERES moves up from being an Intern with Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) to Caseworker/Field Representative for Rep. Brad Sherman (D-CA). Kimberly is a 2018 graduate of California State University, Northridge, with a BA in Political Science and Government.

 

Now working as a Legislative Aide to Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-OR) is JACKSON THEIN. Jackson’s issue portfolio includes arts, culture and religion. He moves up from Legislative Correspondent. He is a 2019 MPH graduate of the University of Edinburgh (as in “Eddenbawrugh” for you non-Scots!) in Epidemiology, Statistics, Bioethics, with distinction.

Making the big move from the House side to the Senate side is CHRIS MEDRANO, who goes from working as Health Policy Fellow for Rep. Tim Wahlberg (R-MI) to Legislative Correspondent for Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah). Chris received his BA in English and Political Science in 2016 from James Madison University.
