ALEXIS LITTRELL is who you need to talk to these days to schedule something with Rep. Austin Scott (R-GA), marking her first congressional staff position as Scheduler. Previously, Alexis served an Internship with Rep. Trent Kelly (R-MS). Alexis has a BS in Political Science from Mississippi College.

MANDY SMITHBERGER is the new Defense Policy Adviser to Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), following her work as Director of the Center for Defense Information for the Project for Government Oversight (POGO). Mandy is a 2008 BA graduate of Smith College in Government and she has studied at the Johns Hopkins University’s Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies.

JON MCKINLEY is the new Legislative Assistant for Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D-Ohio). Before joining Kaptur’s staff, Jon was a Political Officer at the Department of State. He’s also a former staffer for Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) and Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio). Jon earned a BA in Political Science in 2010 from Ohio University and a MUP in Urban, Community and Regional Planning in 2014 from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

TERRON SIMS takes on duties as Chief of Staff for Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX). Terron is a 2000 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY., with a BS in Systems Engineering. Terron is a veteran of the 2020 Biden presidential campaign and Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ).
