INTRODUCTION TO EXODUS EXPLORED: Is the Biblical Account of the Israelites’ Escape From Slavery in Egypt Myth or Fact?
(3:32 VIEWING) — It’s among the most widely known stories from the ancient world, but did the Israelite people become slaves in Egypt after Joseph’s passing and the ascension of a new Pharaoh who knew nothing of how the obscure tribe had come to the land of the pyramids, according to the Old Testament Book of Exodus.

Among the many miracles recorded in Exodus are the raising of Moses by God to lead the Israelites, the plagues God sent on Egypt and the way the Lord opened a dry path across the Red Sea to enable the escape from Pharaoh’s pursuing chariots. There are indeed many more miracles in Exodus, a fact that perhaps has fueled skepticism about the reliability of the Old Testament account.
But modern archeology, science and historiographical investigations have uncovered a growing and impressively large and credible body of evidence that the Exodus account did indeed happen just as it is portrayed.
The John 10:10 Project and Illustra Media have created and produced the 13-part series of videos entitled “The Exodus Explored” that present the evidence and make the case in a beautifully produced and endlessly fascinating production.
Beginning today on HillFaith.org with the Introduction and Part 1: Israelites in Egypt — (7:38 VIEWING) — and then continuing for 11 more consecutive Fridays, HillFaith.org will feature one video from the series.
I love the John 10:10 project. I’m looking forward to watching the next several videos.
Thanks for sharing this Mark.
Doesn’t this rely on Ron Wyatt’s work? Grok says so. Disappointing, if so. There’s a lot of historical foundation for the exodus, but also a lot of low quality speculation out there that easily persuades those non-expert in the field.
I forwarded your comment to The folks at John 10:10 Project and they responded that Ron Wyatt was not a source. The following individuals were the sources:
