(ONE-MINUTE WATCH) — The Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. is known for many things, including especially his leadership of the civil rights movement in the 1960s, but there is something else about him that few Americans likely know.

King was an advocate of Intelligent Design (ID), that is, the principle that the universe displays such obvious and compelling order that it is unreasonable to the think it wasn’t designed by God.
