WHAT WOULD YOU SAY: Is ‘Intelligent Design’ Actually Science?

Chemists and physicists conducting scientific experiments are “doing science” because their processes and results can be duplicated and verified by others performing the same steps in the same way. That’s what most people likely have in mind when “Scientific Method” is mentioned.

But what about the archeologist who digs into the ancient past and discovers all kinds of artifacts from the oldest civilized societies that ever existed, such as the Egyptian Pharaohs and Monument Valley? Is that science? The experiment cannot be repeated but the process certainly qualifies as “historic science,”

That’s how the following 6.28 second video from the Colson Center’s superb “What Would You Say?” series opens its discussion of the thorny question of whether Intelligent Design (ID) should be considered scientific.

Be prepared to be shocked and perhaps even prompted to reconsider everything you thought you know with absolute certified when you do!
