ARIANA ORNE is the new Communications Director for Rep. Paul Ruiz (D-Calif.). Before signing on with Ruiz, Ariana served as Communications Director for the Special Competitive Studies Project and she has also served as a Public Relations Analyst for the National Security Commission on Artificial Intelligence. Ariana was awarded an MA in Strategic Communications in 2021 by American University and she received her BS in Social Science in 2018 from Jacksonville University.
AARON WEINBERG is now providing advice to Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), serving as Senior Adviser for Foreign Policy. Aaron comes to the Nadler operation following a five-year tenure at the Israel Policy Forum as Director of Government Relations. Aaron’s MA was awarded by Brandeis University in 2015 in Jewish Professional Leadership and he received his BA in Sociology, Near Eastern and Judaic studies, Hebrew and Social Justice and Social Policy in 2014, also from Brandeis.
MATT SMITH has moved into the Communications Director slot for Rep. Michelle Steel (R-Calif.). Matt formerly was Director of Xenophon Strategies and also served for nearly two years as CD for Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.). He is a 2017 University of Kentucky graduate with a BA in Political Science and Journalism.
