(8:00 MINUTE VIEWING) — Ever notice how similar in structure your hand is with those of multiple other creatures in the world? For a long time, that common structure was taken to be evidence of common descent and thus as convincing evidence in support of Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution.

But, as the following 8-minute installment of “Long Story Short” video series from the Discovery Institute demonstrates, just because things look a certain way and lots of really smart people over a long period of time say they look that way because of X does not guarantee that X is in fact a true statement.
