MORNING JOE STAN: Isn’t It Time You Put Those Rocks Down?

(THIRTY-SEVEN SECONDS WATCH) — Years ago and very early in my recovery of sobriety, I heard somebody at an AA meeting talk about the importance of “dropping the rocks” of guilt, shame and regret about our past actions as a result of addiction.

That is such an important lesson for anybody struggling with additions to learn and I was blessed to have done so quite early in my journey to sobriety, which now extends past 34 years. One day at a time and always through the grace of God Almighty.

But dropping those rocks from the past is even more VIP for new followers of Jesus Christ. When we accept Him as our Savior and repent of all of our sins, He puts all of that “as far as the East is from the West.”

But Satan is a master of reminding us of our past as a means of getting us to focus on ourselves rather than on Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Joe Stan knows a thing or three about this challenge and HillFaith is happy to be able to share this video with readers on Capitol Hill and everywhere else:
