MORNING JOE STAN: Who Ya Gonna Believe About Yourself, the World or Your Creator?

(TWO-MINUTE LISTEN) — If that title above sounds like a bit of click-bait rhetoric on a post that really doesn’t any real substance or relevance for you as a congressional aide working on Capitol Hill, let me assure you Joe Stan never appears on HillFaith just to be you to click on something.

Joe is associated with WarPath Ministries, and he offers down-home, practical, trustworthy advice and counsel on how to overcome the multitude of challenges that sooner or later confront every follower of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Why does HillFaith think Joe Stan has something to say to congressional aides? Because I know from my own experience working on three different congressional staffs and then covering Congress as a journalist just what a pressure-cooker this place can be.

I also know what it’s like to be on the Hill with and without the infinite benefits of knowing Jesus as my savior, friend and Lord. And just in case you think Christian faith is nothing but an emotional crutch, I can talk your leg off sharing with you the countless ways Jesus has blessed me since the morning of March 1, 1991, on the Hill and off.

So, take a couple of precious minutes to give this installment from Joe Stan a listen. He’s talking about the choice we all have to make — are we going to allow the world to define who we are and what we’re worth, or do we listen to the living Son of God who loves us so much that He died on a cross to save us from ourselves?

You matter, infinitely more than you know.
