SCIENCE AND FAITH: Call of the Cosmos

(6:30 VIEWING) — Have you ever looked up into the night sky, been in awe of how many stars and planets you can see and then remembered that we Earthlings can’t even see the vast majority of the heavenly bodies because the universe is so vast.

There is a familiar current in contemporary thought that science and faith are too entirely unrelated fields of inquiry. But, as the following 6:30 video produced by the John 10:10 Project suggests, maybe the truth is that we see most clearly in the night sky how closely related are science and faith.

Thanks to three incredibly powerful telescopes that have come into operation in recent decades, we can see deeper into the universe than ever before. And the beauty, complexity and vastness thereby revealed through science illustrates some fundamental truths expressed in the Bible.
