CATHERINE HAYES is now Executive Director of the GOP Doctors Caucus. Catherine comes to the caucus after 13 years with the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons, most recently as Senior Government Relations Director. Catherine is not a stranger to congressional staff roles, having first served as Legislative Correspondent on the Senate Judiciary Committee, working for Sen. Arlen Spectre (D-Pa.). She received her BS in Political Science in 2006 from Dickinson College and her MPP in Public Policy in 2013 from George Mason University.
Alyssa Pettus is Communications Director for the House Select Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party Committee.
ALYSSA PETTUS is the new Communications Director for the House Select Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party Committee. Alyssa comes back to the Hill after a stint with Leidos Inc., most recently as Director of External Communications. She previously worked for Sen. Richard Shelby (R-Ala.) and Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.). Alyssa’s Communications BS was awarded in 2016 by Auburn University.
DREW WALLACE takes over as Staff Director for the Minority on the Senate Rules and Administration Committee working for Sen. Alex Padilla (D-Calif.). Drew is a veteran of both the executive branch, having served as a Special Assistant to President Joe Biden and working before that in multiple congressional positions beginning in 2000. Drew’s law degree is from George Mason University School of Law in 2008 and his BA in Political Science and Government in 2000 from Kenyon College.
