JESSICA LEE is settling in her first position on a congressional staff, as the new Communications Director for Rep. Robin Kelly (D-Ill.). Previously, Jessica was Media Relations Manager for Giffords: Courage to Fight Gun Violence. Jessica earned her Bachelor degree in Political Science and Strategic Communications from Butler University.

Also taking on congressional staff duties for the first time is ROBERTO LUGONES, who is the new Press Secretary for Rep. Carlos Gimenez (R-Fla.). This move is a return to a familiar environment as Roberto interned in the Florida Republican’s office last year. Roberto received his BA from Fordham University in Political Science and Government/ American Studies in 2024.
MATT KEYES is back! Matt returns to Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) as Deputy Communications Director following a two-year stint back home as Communications Director for the Ohio Democratic Party. Before taking over the party post, Matt was Deputy Communications Director for the Ohio Democratic senator. Matt received his BA in Philosophy and Politics in 2013 from Xavier University in Cincinnati.
