The new Press Assistant in the office of Rep. Mike Turner (R-Ohio) is AUSTIN RICHARDS. Before signing on full-time with the Ohio Republican, Austin was an Intern in the office of Sen. Todd Young (R-Ind.). He is a 2024 graduate of the University of Indiana at Bloomington with a BA in Law and Public Policy.
JULIA LAQUINTO takes a big step up to serving as the Senate Democratic Policy and Communications Committee’s SENIOR POLICY ADVISER, working for Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-Mich.). Julia is well-prepared for this new role, moving up from her duties as Legislative Assistant to the Michigan Democrat. She earned her MA in Legislative Affairs in 2023 from George Washington University and her BS in Political Science and History in 2020 from the University of Michigan.
