HILL STAFF NEWS: New Hires, Job Promotions, Open Positions, Great Opportunities

House Republican Whip Tom Emmer (R-Minn.) has a new National Security Adviser and her name is AMELIA LITYNSKI. Amelia moves up from her previous position with Emmer as Policy Adviser. Amelia is a 2023 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Command and Staff College with a MA in Military Operational Art and Science. She is a 2021 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a BA in Economics, Political Science and History.

KINSEY FEATHERSTON moves into the Communications Director slot in the office of Rep. Bruce Westerman (R-Ark.). Previously, Kinsey was Press Secretary for Rep. Steve Pearce (R-N.M.) and a Press Assistant for Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas). Kinsey is a 2016 graduate of Dallas Baptist University with a BA in Communications.

HAYLEY ANDREWS sets up shop in her first full-time position working on a congressional staff, for Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC) as a Legislative Correspondent. Hayley previously served as an Intern working for Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC). She is a 2024 graduate of Washington & Lee University with a BA in Cognitive and Behavioral Science and Politics.

There is a new Assistant Counsel in the House Office of Legislative Liaison, GRACE ALLAMAN. Grace comes to the position following a stint as an Intern in the Office of the Legal Adviser of the Department of State. Grace is a 2021 Vanderbilt University graduate with a BA in Political Science and Government, and she earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2024.
