SALONI SHARMA moves into the Communications Director slot working for Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee Ranking Member Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.). Previously, Saloni was Special Assistant to the President and Senior Adviser for Communications in the Biden administration. She earned her BA from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Development Economics and International Affairs in 2015.
JONATHAN TURCOTTE has new professional digs, moving into the Policy Director position at the Senate Republican Conference. Jonathan’s Hill career began in 2017 as an Intern working for Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio). He received his BA in Criminology from the University of Maryland in 2016.
RAFAEL BERNAL makes the big move from a long and successful career in journalism to being Communications Director for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus. Previously, Rafael spent nine years covering Congress for The Hill. He received his MS in Journalism in 2012 from Northwestern University and his Bachelor in Law Degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Ciudad de México in 2006.
