MATT FISHER has moved into the Communications Director slot on the personal staff of Rep. Greg Steube (R-Fla.). Matt comes back to the Hill after a two-year absence, having previously served as Press Secretary for Rep. Brian Mast (R-Wis.). Matt is a 2020 graduate of Hillsdale College with a BA in Political Science and Government.
DR. KIMBERLY McCLAIN takes over as Chief of Staff for Texas Democrat, Rep. Jasmine Crockett. Dr. McClain comes to Capitol Hill following two years as Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for Congressional and Intergovernmental Relations. She earned her doctorate in International Business from NorthCentral University in 2009.
There is a new face in the Minority Staff office of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee and it belongs to Chief Counsel KATE KONSCHNIK, working for Ranking Member Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.). Kate previously served in the Biden Administration at the Department of Justice as a Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General for the Environment and Natural Resources Division. Kate received her law degree in 2002 from the University of California Hastings School of Law and her BA in Political Science from Tufts University in 1994.
